Closing 2017 with a Slam- 2017 is running strong in many direct Sales companies, I am hearing about growth rates that are extraordinary.
There is still time to close your 2017 like a champ! Here I want to share a few ways in which you can do just that.
So, let's take a peek at how you can close 2017 with a slam with your business, even if you are just getting started!
#1 - Focus On Company Promotions.
Focus on company promotions and set a goal for your team and for your personal business of what you want to achieve with these promotions.
There is no need to recreate the wheel, your company is focused on growing you! Message, post, go Live, pick up the phone; paint the vision for your leads as to why now is the time!
Company promotions are best served near the end of a year, that holiday season when everyone is starting to think about the new year to come, and the gifts they can give that actually change lives.
Trust me, there is no better time than this part of the year to get your message out there and with effect than now!
#2 - Keep talking and communicating.
Keep Talking (yes that four letter word TALK) and connecting. How many relatives, friends, and new contacts are you going to encounter over the next few weeks during the holidays?
Be ready- know what you are asking them to engage them. It’s not about telling it is about asking!
One of the best practices for you and your direct sales business is to listen and ask. Be ready to ask a follow-up question, many times I hear people launch into an answer that they assume is right, be sure you understand before you answer. Learn the skill of loving to hear what people desire the most, their needs, their wants, this skill will serve you and explode your business.
I have built businesses on not assuming I know the answers, but assuming I can discover the connection that will lead the person in front of me their success.
Keep talking, keep communicating, and most of all, keep listening to those needs and desires people have, that only you can fulfill!
#3 - Throw some Events (you can even call it a Party)!
Throw a party, yep a big one! It is the perfect time of year to show off your hospitality skills and if you feel like you don’t have those skills it can be narrowed down to one concept- authentic sincere invitations. It's time to go live, be live, and when you can, be in person. Home parties are great, telling a great holiday story by going Live on FaceBook to connect with your network is perfect as well. Doing both will create explosive growth.
Get out there and start getting that party started, inviting. Connecting with others during the holidays is a great way to build your team faster, not to mention build leaders who do the same.

Never stop, never give up. Sounds cliche' I know, but it is what separates the successful from the not-so-successful out here in the direct sales industry.
When you are getting started in direct sales, that first foot forward will be a step of belief, and a step in the direction of success. But remember, each step will lay a foundation for the next, and the next, and so on.
If you have been out of step this year, or you just got started here with direct sales, get in step now, don't wait. Look to your leadership, watch what they do and what direction they go and follow. This channel is not complicated but it is intentional so get in line with those that are successful and keep going.
